Quality products start with quality ingredients. Our 1001 Rust Penetrant is a hydrocarbon-based solvent used as a detergent and cleaner for painted and unpainted metal parts.

 Suggested for use on frozen or rusted fittings, nuts, or bolts. We recommend that this solvent be used with an appropriate recalculated parts washer. MIL-PRF-680B Type II (low odor, high flash point) is intended for use where a solvent with a higher flash point is desired or required. When this solvent is used indoors, be sure to have proper ventilation to prevent accumulation of vapors above the allowable exposure limits.
